My day started off well until I reached the branch. Amazing that your seniors wear casual while you wear your uniform. I suppose there goes the saying "Leadership by Example". Exchange of words but no profainity or anything that could lead to disciplinary action but I feel a leader has failed.
As soon as the meeting ended, I called my officer and told him what had happened and he asked me to come over to Sunway College where the youths were having their First Aid Course. Well he told me to cool off after listening and said he'll handle it. I was then asked to help train a class (sadly I didn't get my school but hey I had a good time teaching new faces). I told I had a game of badminton and the teacher looked at me with pleading eyes. Sigh I hate cancelling my appointments especially when it is with one of my best friends e.g. Han Zhang but what choice do I have? My team members needed help as there were 268 students to manage. Well lucky for me HZ was understanding and said it was okay. My best part was a kid in Form 2 named Darren was listening to music with a earphone in his ear and I called him to the front. I asked him if he was paying attention and he said yes but when I asked him to repeat what I said, he couldn't lol. Punishment? I turned him into my "casualty" and used him to demonstrate bandaging and the recovery position.
Sometimes, your enemies can be helpful and I was touched by a guy whom I quarreled with a year ago saw I didn't have transport and asked his friend to send me back. Sigh tempers flare but nothing kept in the heart. After all, I train his little brother in school. Thanks Osla and Daoshen for saving my life!
Came home just to get a call from Naar asking me to go out with him for dinner and I said sure why not. Took a stroll in the park. I like doing that with my friends. Day ended well and I went to bed early which was unusual.
