Well, this is it. Grand finale of the course and from the looks of many faces, some were nervous, some were unprepared and some were just normal. Deepak and I did a pre-briefing and doing the final touches on bandaging for leg fractures and we all headed down for breakfast.
If you ever wondered what's the cause of our students to misbehave and don't follow rules, sadly are our teachers (not all so no offense intended if you're a teacher)don't set good examples. You can tell the class to turn off their mobile phones but one teacher actually hid it under her tudung and continued until I told her to stop or I will confisticate. Embarassing I must say if I did that but shame on you. Instead of setting an example, you're the cause of the younger generation turning into misfits!
I was elected as examiner for CPR but of course under minimal supervision which my senior said I did well. Naturally, I couldn't examine my own school; SMK Kelana Jaya. Next, bandaging was quite bad and many didn't do too well. For theory... it was just like any other exam. All ended at 6pm and jolly, Imran, Deepak, Jasmyn and I stayed back with Osla and a few others to clear up and do tallying work. Had a food poisoning case which was also an opening point to give first aid and teach kids how to treat :)
Imran, Deepak and myself headed for Mcd (our ritual as Mr Ananda calls it) and Jasmyn with her friend Pei Sian joined us later. Dad was a little mad I came home late and did not call to tell but... no harm done fortunately.
