Checkup at ENT

The checkup with the ENT went well and I must say my pain has reduced tremendously thanks to Dr. Nobu and Dr. Chandran. What UM couldn't do in 4 months, these 2 did it in just 3 weeks. I know who to recommend now for those with such problems XD

Bye Kulim :(

Well, all good things must come to an end but the memories still remain. Left for Bukit Mertajam station and the train was punctual but as usual, punctuality is lacking in today's public transportation here and the train arrived almost an hour later in KL. My dad picked me up from Taman Bahagia and I came home and took a nap.

Happy Birthday Anne Elizabeth!!!

My cousin Darin's daughter's birthday so we headed for Penang. Just when I thought I could catch a picture as Clement drove on the bridge, Imran called me and by the time the call ended, I was already across!!! The best part was, I asked him if I could speak to Hanif but that fella thought I meant the casualty whose name was Anis. Sigh that guy drives me so mad but can be funny sometimes.

The birthday party went well and boy I must admit I ate alot. After all the fun, we left for Kulim and overall, it was a great day XD

Peaceful Kulim

It was peaceful in Kulim. Clement, Christina, Amanda and I went to do abit of shopping and yeah we were stopped by a traffic police who just asked us where we are going politely, and Clement said taking the family out. After some shopping, we bought soya bean and headed for home.

Despite me not feeling too good to go to church, and my aunt said I could stay back if I wanted to, I still followed the family to church. Why not? Get God's blessings, right? XD Evening was quiet.

Quiet Friday

Nothing really happened today except watching TV and following my Aunt to the market and entertaining Amanda. At night, Joanne took me to mcd with Russell. I couldn't help laughing when Russell told me that Amanda calls him Rascal LOL XD

Visiting around BM

Clement was off from work today since it was Penang's Heritage Day (holiday only in Penang) so he decided to take Amanda and I out to BM (Bukit Mertajam) to see my other Uncles and Aunts. First off, after breakfast, we visited Uncle Christie who was suffering from diabetes and seeing him actually brought tears to my eyes. Anyway, we then visited Aunty Celine who was her usual self.

Came home for lunch and Clement headed out after lunch. Played football with Amanda in the evening and it was quiet after that.

Aunt's Birthday

It was Aunty Theresa's birthday. Gave her a gift. Played with Amanda for abit and watched TV with her. There was a cartoon with 2 snowmen; one short, wears glasses and looks kinda serious which she said was Uncle Vincent and the tall big sized one was Adrian Moreira. Well, come to think of it, yeah the names suit the snowmen lol. Dad called me to see how I was and also to wish Aunty.

At around 11.30am, Justin came to take Amanda, Aunty and me out for lunch. First, we stopped by Geraldine's parents' house and there I met Gerard for the first time. We had lunch at Bukit Mertajam opposite the St. Anne's Church joined by Geraldine's parents, Justin, Gerard, Maurice, Aunty Elizabeth, Uncle Vincent and Adrian Moreira. I couldn't help laughing thinking of the name Amanda gave the snowmen everytime I looked at Uncle Vincent. Came home and had a quiet evening. Later, Clement took us all out for dinner. When I chose coffee as my drink, Clement asked me if I wanted to stay awake. I then asked him about his drink which was enough to knock him out till tomorrow evening lol. Overall, the day went well.

The Battle between Good and Evil: Transformers

I woke up at 4am this morning and couldn't head back to sleep despite drinking milk, counting sheep and everything there is so I read one of Amanda's books to keep me entertained. Fell asleep at about 6ish and woke up at around 8 before Joanne left for work. She told me to get ready for the movie in the evening. Justin came over for breakfast and we had a talk. Amanda likes giving names to people. Clement; her dad who's my cousin had told her to allow me to watch TV but unfortunately for me and fortunately for her, they're not subscribed to the channel I watch lol. I didn't mind watching baby tv with her. She gave names to everyone based on the characters and I couldn't help laughing at 2 snowmen being called Uncle Vincent and Adrian Moreira lol.

Later, we went to the market and nothing much happened there. As it was a hot weather, I slept in the hall with 2 fans on and of course Amanda sent me off to dreamland again. I wonder if she is related to the Sandman XD. Anyway, Aunty went out to church in the evening and I went out to watch Transformers with Joanne and Russell. I used to watch the animated version when I was a kid in the 1980s. Had a great time and came home after midnight but I am on vacation so rules can be broken lol jk XD.

Day with Amanda

Woke up at about 7.30am and had breakfast with Joanne when I heard my niece wailing from the room for her G-Ma as she calls my aunt. Went to Giant after that and got a few things. The following is a picture I took of her at Giant in the trolley XD

Came home and had lunch and helped her with her jigsaw puzzles. To be honest, I never had patience with such and this girl really has the patience. Instead of me putting her to taking a nap, she sent me off to dreamland lol. Evening was quiet and when Christina came back, both of us helped Amanda with her puzzles.

My Vacation Begins!

Woke up at 6am and did some last minute packing although the clothes have already been packed. Reached the station at around 7.45am just in time for some mcd XD. Next, while waiting for the guard to allow us to go down to the platform, I tried the massage chair for like 10 minutes and WOW! It did me a world of good.

My relatives stay in Kulim, Kedah but there is no direct train to Kulim and the nearest station for them to pick me up from is Bukit Mertajam. I got the window seat (yay) and had company until Taiping from 2 other passengers; one from KL Sentral to Ipoh and the other from Ipoh to Taiping. I didn't really talk much and I was kind of sleepy so I settled down to some music from my phone with my earphones of course and took a nap until Tanjung Malim. Had a little chat with an Australian family that was heading to Butterworth but other than that, things were quiet. At Kuala Kangsar, my cousin; Joanne text me to say she will be waiting for me. The train reached a little late and I have no complaints on that as you cannot have everything 100% smooth sailing. However, the sad part of my journey was a baby cockroach was in the bathroom of my coach. If it had been the big one, I'd have freaked out XD.

Joanne picked me up and we headed for Sunway (oh my, alot of changes had taken place since the last I came down). Met Russell and we hung around abit and I thought best I headed for home. Was greeted by my Aunt, cousin's wife and my niece. Evening was quiet since I was tired and I did head for bed early.
